Pros and cons of shareprice research app for iPhone and iPad

shareprice research app good for

Simple and easy to use and linked to iii.co.uk for discussion and gossip. All you will need for checking on the go. Well-recommended!
My best trading app discovery this year. Sends a price push notification and email almost instantly. Use this app everyday as I am too busy to keep track of price changes

Some bad moments

I checked the Sample portfolio (You have to register to set up your own portfolio). Then I used the search function to find a couple of stocks. In the first case it found nothing; in the second it found a U.S. stock with the same symbol. The menu has an link to "UK Company News" I suspect that this is a British app, trying to harvest some U.S. business--not sure why its available on the Canadian site. (Unless the registered version has more flexibility? If so, not very bright of them to exclude our ability to test out their app.) Its unfortunate I couldnt get it to work, because the information it provides (on the stocks it allows) seems quite good. However, for Canadians, that have some U.S. stocks also I recommend Stock Board Free.
Terrible app. Takes forever to load, keeps losing my stocks. Updated ticker prices are slow, constantly logs me out which requires going online to reset password and verify who I am. Honestly the worst most terrible app. I have no idea why it supposedly is ranked top500. Avoid! So frustrating!!!!!
